Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa and the economic center for the whole of Africa with many attractions for its visitors.
Whatever your reasons for visiting, Johannesburg attractions have something for every taste.

Johannesburg attractions include the Sandton area with its many shopping malls and designer stores, in easy walking distance from Johannesburg hotels like those of the Don Suite Hotel’s.
Whilst Johannesburg attractions don’t include too many wide open spaces, you can enjoy the Emmarentia Dam and Lake as well as the Sisula National Botanical Gardens. The Magaliesberg is right next door and if you’re looking for attractions a bit further afield, the Kruger National Park and the Lowveld Game Parks are not too far away.

Bruma
Bruma is close to all major Johannesburg attractions and has a few of its own. Because of its proximity to OR Tambo Airport, and the excellent transportation facilities, it is the perfect place for business travelers to stay.
Eastgate Shopping Center - The premier shopping mall in South Africa, Eastgate has an environment that caters for parents and children alike.
Bruma Lake Flea Market - is an amazing mixture of lakeside market, shopping mall and commercial parks. Of all Johannesburg attractions this is the place to get that special gift, or just spend an afternoon browsing.
Isando
Isando has numerous shopping malls and many fine hotels including those of the excellent Don Hotel chain.
If you have the time, take a trip to the Swartspruit Recreational Area with its extensive picnic and barbeque facilities. Because of the dam and the huge variety of bird life it is a not to be missed attraction for the bird lover along with the Terenue Bird Farm just a few minutes away.
Rosebank
Rosebank is a vibrant multicultural area, one of a kind in that it has successfully combined commercial activities with a pleasant working, shopping and entertainment environment. Rosebank is just 35 minutes from OR Tambo Airport, and close to all of Johannesburg’s centers.

Rosebank has something to offer everyone. Take the time to explore the beautiful art deco architecture that characterizes many of the buildings or maybe take the children to see that beautiful Johannesburg suburb?
Sandton
Sandton is the financial capital of South Africa with many top investment banks and financial businesses based here as well as the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the largest convention center on the African continent. Two hotels of the Don Hotel chain are located just five kilometers from the well known Nelson Mandela Square - the Don Sandton III & Don Sandton IV.
• Sandown/ Sandton Central
Sandton’s sophistication, up market stores and world-class hotels and restaurants make it a much sought after address and the ideal place to stay when in the city, particularly if your main reason for being in Johannesburg is business.
Despite being a commercial and business center, there is no shortage of attractions in Sandown. These include the many art galleries, the Liberty Life Theatre, the African Culture Market, over 20 cinemas, gourmet restaurants, snack bars, fast food restaurants, coffee shops and every culinary delight you can imagine.
If you are a golfer then the area offers you no less than four major golf courses.
